Steps to measure your curved radiator:

Step 1: Measure the Width of the bay.

Place your tape measure at one end of the curved radiator's bay.

Extend the tape measure across the widest point of the curved radiator, following the curve closely.

Note down the measurement in millimetres or inches.

Step 2: Measure the Depth of the bay.

Position the tape measure at the front of the bay where the radiator will be placed.

Extend the tape measure towards the wall where the radiator's back will be positioned, following the curve.

Record the measurement in millimetres or inches.

Step 3: Measure from the top of the skirting to the sill.

Place the tape measure at the top of the skirting board, where the radiator will be positioned.

Extend the tape measure vertically to the sill or the bottom of the window.

Make sure the tape measure follows the curve of the bay.

Write down the measurement in millimetres or inches.

Step 4: Allow 50mm Top and bottom.

To ensure proper clearance and fitting, add 50mm (or around 2 inches) to the top and bottom measurements obtained in Step 3. This allows for the radiator to be mounted comfortably within the bay.

Step 5: Taking Additional Measurements (if Needed)

Depending on the specific design of your curved radiator, you might need additional measurements, such as the angles of the curve. Use an angle measuring tool to determine the angles accurately.

Step 6: Double-Check and Confirm Measurements

Double-check all your measurements to ensure accuracy. Mistakes in measurements can lead to improper fitting of the radiator.

Remember, curved radiators can have irregular shapes, so taking precise measurements is crucial to ensuring a proper fit. If you're unsure or find the measurements challenging due to the radiator's curve, it might be helpful to consult us for guidance or check out our YouTube video
